If we see the history, Muslims always been engaged in such work which gave an new way to the world. Muslim scholars always worked so hard which no other scholar did in past. Like mathematics is the subject which was initiated by the Muslims, similarly medicine was initiated by Muslims; algebra subject was also created by Muslims. If we see huge old building in sub continent or in Europe all are made by Muslims. These huge buildings show the architectural view of Muslims in the past. Taj Mehal, Faisal mosque, buildings in Spain, and Italy all are Muslim creations.

Now as the time is changing Muslims are also acquiring the same knowledge which is in Europe. Muslims are standing with the people of European countries if we talk about education and creation. Asian countries have top universities of world. Even Pakistan which is considered to be the 3^rd world countries also have such universities, which are producing top engineers, doctors and management people. They are not even serving in Pakistan but also in European countries.

Saudi Arabia is always considered to be a Muslim country which is far behind in the educational field. Now it is announced that Saudi Arabia is going to build a huge new university which will add a significant role in educational field. This university is named King Abdullah university of Science and technology. This university is considered to be the world’s great institute of research. It is about 90 km away from Jeddah and about $10 billion has been spent on it. Saudi government invited about 3000 dignitaries all over the world in the inauguration.

This university is up to graduate level how ever it is decided that it will be taken up to post graduate level. There will be research center for medicine, engineering, material sciences, resources, energy and environment, applied mathematics and computer sciences.  This university has partnership with 27 other universities. The universities with which this university has partnership include Harvard, Stanford, and Oxford University. It has joint ventures with industries like IBM and Schlumberger. The university currently has 71 faculty staff; a figure that it hopes will eventually rise to 225.

Saudi Arabia is Islamic country and has rigid rules according to Islam, but the government has given assurance of freedom. This university will be open for both men and women from around the world. This university will give students easy access to information and will provide facilities for research.
